(서비스와 식사도중 소매치기에 대해)
우린 Pancakes와 Half cup(English breakfast)을 주문했습니다. 그런데 우리보다 늦게 주문한 옆테이블의 치킨토스트와 와플이 먼저 나왔습니다. 우리는 10여분 기다렸다 서버에게 이야기 한 후에야 음식을 받을수 있었습니다. 주문후 음식을 받기까지 30분 정도 걸린것 같습니다. 나이프도 챙겨주지 않아 한참동안 포크로 잘라 먹어야 했습니다. 커피 값은 빼 준다 해서 기분이 풀린것도 잠시, 한 여인이 굶고 있는 자녀가 있다는 페이퍼를 보여주며 돈을 요구했고 몇번 거절 했지만 포기하지 않아 1파운드를 주려고 전 가방을 열었습니다. 그런데 그 여인이 제 옆에 어깨동무를 하고 앉더니 제 가방에 손을 넣고 있었습니다. 전 몹시 당황해서 “왜 손을 가방에 넣냐?“ 하고 따졌고 그 여인은 웃으며 물러나더니 테이블 위에 있던 제아들의 휴대폰으로 손을 스르륵 옮겨갔습니다. 다행히 아들이 발견하고 즉시 휴대폰을 움켜 쥐었습니다. 저희는 테라스가 아닌 식당안에 앉아 있었고 소매치기가 식당안에 들어와 활개를 치고 있는데도 서버는 크게 제지 하지 않았고 우린 너무 놀라 음식을 거의 남긴채 나와야 했습니다. 소매치기가 너무 대담하므로 조심하시기 바랍니다. 음식은 맛있었는데 심장이 떨려 거의 남기고 온게 속상합니다.

This cafe is located on Judd Street, near King’s Cross, about a 15 mins walk from the Underground Station, making it easy to find. The staff are polite and cheerful, and the atmosphere is pleasant. They also have outdoor seating.
We ordered the Golden Turmeric & Ginger Latte, Ube Latte, Oreo French Toast, and Half Cup Full English Breakfast. Except for the French toast, the quality of the food and drinks was excellent! I look forward to trying other items on the menu next time!

At over £50 for brunch for two, Half Cup sets the bar very high.
The chicken waffle was very good, with a generous portion and really well seasoned.
While the coffee was “above average” by London standards, it was still a bit disappointingly far from being excellent.
The coconut spiced chai latte was nice enough, just a little too weak and milky — but perhaps that’s the local taste though.
The veg full breakfast is a solid option, but none of the elements were “wow”, such as halloumi that was a little overcooked and dry.
The staff are very welcoming, and the cafe itself is a really lovely environment. Going by the wait time to be seated, this is a popular spot — if you want to visit, recommend to book ahead!

我們今日去了其中一間之前已經想過去的咖啡店， 但很特別，明明我印像中在網路看到的他的門面是藍色， 但現場所見是白色， 沒有問題，我有加上新的照片大家可以參考最新的。
因為是 比較受歡迎的店舖，所以你要預排隊的時間 ，如果人多等候的話要排隊超過30分鐘， 他們座位有室內和室外， 找你自己喜歡找你的座位 ，他們有售賣不同的窩夫和pancake產品 ，也有all day breakfast ，你可以選擇你喜歡吃的 。我最喜歡的是這間店舖的份量 ，每一份都非常足夠， 可能如果你是吃得少一點的女生會覺得比較多， 飲品也很有特色， 看得出店舖有精心地選擇他們的產品。
他們有提供洗手間， 也有提供外賣服務。他們價錢倫敦來說是偏貴一點點的。
美中不足的是， 可能空間比較細小，所以很多人們在聊天的時候整間店舖給人很嘈吵的感覺， 也可能這就是所謂的熱鬧。

Incredible brunch spot. The fried chicken and waffles are likely my favorite thing I've had in London. A bit of a line for walk-ins and a little crammed, but worth the wait.

It’s horrible place. They kicked us out like 30 minutes before their closing time, while we were still having coffee. What a service. Coffee was terrible.

Really great vibes and such yummy and unique food options. All amazing. Stayed for hours. Just kept ordering different things to try. Everything was delicious. I was sad when I was finally too full to eat anymore. lol

Coming to Half Cup is like Enhancing and Nurturing your Senses with such uplifting ‘notes’… the service, the atmosphere, the cuisine all carefully yet light- heartedly catered to you, a joyful place to be, what a lovely experience!

Excellent breakfast spot. Had the eggs on toast and also the vegetarian English breakfast, both were great. Coffee also excellent. Great option in this neighborhood.
